Horrible customer service double charged me for my too. A grab bar near the shower would be helpful and a safety issue. The toilet was very low—great for children but not for adults.
The tollway exit is close to the hotel. There are a variety of stores, restaurants and gas stations nearby. The laundry room was very convenient. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Schaumburg is a vibrant community that contrast in a good way with the city of Chicago. People are friendly and will to answer questions. It feels safe and offers many choices of places to go and things to do. So we have move to different hotels in Elk Grove village to stay for our college graduation day and continue to stay there for the rest of the six days left from the trip. Our family member graduated at renaissance convention center in Schaumburg that was why we booked two room to stay for a week.
The quality of the room was very poor. It was rated a King Suite and it was just a King room. The furniture was old and needed replacement. The desk chair was broken. The doors to the bathroom and shower did not work properly. The thermostat for the air conditioning unit was set to repeat 75 degrees and could not maintain a lower temperature no matter how many times I reset it.
This forced my self and my wife to get up in the middle of the night to reset the temperature. We visited Schaumburg to attend Combo Breaker a fighting game competition for those who don't know at the Renaissance Convention Center. So, we spent most of our time there, but there is definitely no shortage of things to see ad do in and around Schaumburg. There are tons of restaurants and shopping. Ikea was super busy but awesome!
Everyone we ran into working at businesses was so very nice and accommodating. We're from a small city in WI and thought we might run into some big city attitude, but we were very pleasantly surprised!
We will definitely make a trip back to Schaumburg! The location was great for everywhere I was headed in the area. It was a great sized suite, that I would honestly book for more than one person because it could accommodate more than one. The hotel worked with me on accommodating me arriving a day early as well as me needing to have a room near the EV charger, I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who asks.
Like I said I like the fact that it was clean very comfortable nice size bed mattress seemed very comfortable the room had pretty much everything you would want or need in a hotel room in the place is really quiet the hallways inside the rooms yeah it was, it is so far a nice place to stay.
The staff was amazing, Carlos office manager is truly a genuine person. The best hotel I have stayed at I travel very often would recommend to anyone staying in Schaumburg Illinois. Great job to the staff at Hilton garden.
Your friends from Ohio. The price for the room was affordable and indoor pool was nice. I love the entrance decor. Very clean hotel with friendly, helpful staff. The rooms were up to date and comfortable. The location was prime and I loved that Ikea was across the street! Water was horrible. Couldn't even brush teeth with the faucet water. I love the whole presentation of the hotel from the outside and the inside and the rooms was spectacular.
